A temple of the Kegon school of Buddhism, standing in Nara City, Nara Prefecture. It enshrines the Rushana Buddha — beloved throughout the world as the Great Buddha of Nara — and houses the Daibutsuden, a great timber hall counted among the largest wooden structures on earth.
