What makes WOUDiO different from other audio guide services? First, AI-powered automatic script generation — facilities don't need to prepare manuscripts. Second, instant QR code access — no app download required. Third, a freemium model — the first 2 tracks are free, helping visitors make purchase decisions. WOUDiO includes over 10 features beyond audio guides: digital tourism map, quiz function, stamp rally, 360° VR, donation (tipping), ticket sales, e-books and digital catalogs, image sales, floor maps, encyclopedia function, and more. Q. How does disaster and hazard response work in Japan? In Japan, the system is integrated with alert systems such as the Japan Meteorological Agency. When a hazard warning is issued, a hazard map is automatically displayed on the audio guide screen. By naturally weaving disaster prevention information into the tourism experience, it supports visitor safety. A unique design philosophy born from Japan's audio guide innovation. Q. What does it mean to unlock content through donations? With WOUDiO, donating to a facility or cultural preservation activities unlocks special additional content (limited tracks, unreleased episodes, etc.). "Supporting" and "deepening the experience" become the same act — the only audio guide in the world with this model. 85% of the donation amount goes directly to the facility or preservation organization. Q. How much does implementation cost? For facilities with over 200,000 annual paid visitors or over 2,000,000 annual free visitors, initial and production costs are completely free. Only a monthly fee applies, with a portion of audio guide sales returned to the facility. A new revenue stream at zero risk. Specific pricing varies by facility scale and content volume — please contact us for details. Flexible plans are also available for other facilities. Q. What does the facility need to prepare? Simply provide basic facility information and image materials — AI generates the script. No manuscript writing required. Only the review and approval process is needed. We propose the most effective wayfinding design for QR code placement. Q. What types of facilities is it suited for? Museums, art galleries, castles, temples and shrines, zoos, aquariums, gardens, historic townscapes, national parks — any place of cultural and historical value. In addition to indoor facilities, outdoor tourism routes and area guides can also be produced. Q. How do I use it? Simply scan the QR code installed at the facility with your smartphone camera. No app download is needed at all. The browser opens and the audio guide starts instantly. The first 2 tracks are free — if you like it, you can purchase additional content on the spot. Q. What languages are supported? Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Korean as standard, with a total of 18 languages supported. Supported languages can also be adjusted according to facility needs. Q. How much does it cost? Two plans are available: Listen (available for the day only) and Own (permanent ownership, can be replayed even after returning home). As a travel memento, you can take the story of that place home with you. Specific pricing varies by facility. Q. Does it work offline? It can be used with the facility's Wi-Fi or mobile communication. Tracks that have been played once are cached for a certain period, so you can listen comfortably even in areas with unstable connectivity. Q. Is the AI voice quality reliable? Professional narrator-level AI voices are used. BGM and sound effects are automatically selected to match the story, providing an immersive listening experience. Rather than monotone reading, natural narration with intonation, pauses, and emotion is achieved. Q. How is the accuracy of AI-generated scripts guaranteed? All scripts are published only after facility review and approval. The facility guarantees the final accuracy of information. If incorrect information is found, immediate correction and updates are possible. Q. How are data and privacy protected? Visitor personal information is collected minimally and managed strictly. Access history and usage logs are used only for service improvement. Please see the privacy policy for details. Q. Where can I find the tickets and guides I purchased? Open "Purchase History" from the menu to see your purchased tickets and guides at any time. Tap a ticket to show its entry QR code. A confirmation email is also sent when you purchase. If you cannot find your purchase, make sure you are signed in with the same account (email address) you used when purchasing. Q. I accidentally bought the same ticket twice. A confirmation screen appears when an identical purchase is attempted within a short time, but if a duplicate purchase does happen, you can cancel an unused ticket yourself (with a refund) from its screen in "Purchase History" within 30 minutes of purchase. After 30 minutes, please contact us via the form on this page, including the email address used for the purchase, and we will verify and refund it. Q. Can I cancel or reschedule my ticket? Unused tickets can be canceled (refunded) from the ticket screen in "Purchase History" up to 24 hours before your visit. You can also reschedule once for free (limited to dates with the same price). If you notice a mistake right after purchase, you can cancel within 30 minutes of purchase — even on the day of your visit — as long as the ticket is unused. Used tickets cannot be refunded. Q. What is the membership card? When you become a member through ongoing support (monthly donations) for a facility, you receive rewards based on your support tier and the color of your membership card changes. You can view your membership card anytime from the account page in the menu. Ongoing support can be canceled anytime from "Purchase History" and remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
